Terrorism and Security

The federal government should develop new security ideas to protect our country from a large attack.

Dear Next President,

I am writing about terrorism and security, because I am concerned about the terrorist attacks and the weak security that we have that aren’t protecting innocent people from being injured or killed. The amount of security that we have in public places in the United States is not enough to protect the people in their everyday life from being attacked.

The problem that the United States has is that the government has lack of security which causes for people to not be aware of the attacks that are happening or that are being planned. An article states that, “I can only hope that America’s leaders will do something to prevent another community from being added to the list. These mass shootings take place only in America.” Gun control and security isn’t taking much importance and we are expecting better security due to the attacks that are happening in the community.

A solution to this problem that you can help with is to have more and tougher security to protect the people from being attacked or seriously injured. An article states that, “Airports in general don’t place high importance on safety around the fences… I don’t see them spending much money on any enhancements other than the basics.” More money should be spent on safety around the fences. Companies should spend more money on security and come up with new ideas to protect the United States.

The federal government should develop new security ideas to protect our country from a large attack. Communities throughout the country should strengthen the homeland security companies to better and defend against attacks.

Thank you for your time,
