Dear next president,

There is this problem that most pet owners have. There pets may be abused or has been killed by their owners. We want you to change that because there is a lot of animals that are being killed by their owners, you should make a law that when you’re buying a pet you have to sign a contract saying you will not harm the pet.

I have witnessed animal abuse because the pet doesn’t obey. I know a girl that had a rabbit, She didn't care about him he didn't feed him and when she wanted the rabbit to play with her, the rabbit didn't have enough energy to stand up or jump around. Her little brother also abused the poor rabbit That rabbit only lived for a week, I don't want to see that ever again because that made me feel sad seeing the rabbit being hit like that.

In an article called “Student group aims to stop animal abuse” by the northwest florida daily news say that “killers and sociopaths have a history of abusing pets.”They have to stop doing all this damage. Killers have a better chance of hitting their pets than regular persons that own a pet.

I want you to stop this animal abuse by making a law that when buying a pet you have to sign a contract saying that the pet will not be harmed. We need to protect the animals that are being abused every day.
