Education Improvement

Throughout the years, many things have improved. It's time that education takes a part in that as well.

Dear future president,

Education has been a huge impact on children for centuries but i believe we, as society, can create an improvement on learning.

I may not know much but i do know this; "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish on it's ability to climb a tree, it will live it's whole life believing that it is stupid," and I quote, Albert Einstein. Yes, education is important. Always have and always will be. I bet many others like me will relate to that fish. Teachers give us homework when other countries don't allow it. Schools last up to 8 hours a day with 30 minutes of lunch when schools in other countries have shorter times. Yet, with all of this, their education levels are higher than ours. Test even determine success and if we're smart enough to move on with life when many of us have different dreams, different lifestyles, and we learn in different ways. I can relate to this quote because many of us students do feel stupid and worthless, as if we can't do anything because we aren't like the rest. We all have different perspectives as i said.

Even though students are 20% of the population, we are surely to be 100% of the future. So step up for a change, improvement, and for an upgrade. The world has progressed and it needs citizens who think creatively, critically, and independently.
