College Tuition

My letter is about the price of college tuition and how much higher the price is getting. You should make public colleges cost not as much, but you can make private schools cost a lot.

College Tuition is ruining dreams. Can you help Americans live a better life?

Dear President,

First off I’d like to congratulate you on being the new president of the United States, and I want to make sure you know about of one of the biggest problems in the world right now. College tuition, you know how many lives could change if the price of college tuition was lowered? 83% of Americans say cannot afford the price of a college education. That means only 17% of Americans can afford a college education. Just think of how many kids lives could change if they could get a good education and do what they wanna do in life. Instead of working at McDonalds for the rest of your life you could fill your potential and do what they wanna do in life. You can do this by eliminating more of college price year after year, then it will gradually go down.

One of the reasons why College Tuition is rising is because of the price of everything else in the world is rising. Think about how schools these days are looking a lot nicer than they use to. So that means Universities need more of our money so they could cover the cost of flashy stadium like colleges. There’s also so many people that work at colleges, do we really need that much people? Don’t forget about technology either, there is so much technology these days that every college is wanting it, so therefore we have to pay more.

Me personally, I really want to go to college and I will go to college. But college cost so much I’ll probably have to get a student loan and worry about paying it for a few years. You should try your very best to make public colleges tuition free but you can have private schools have tuition, because they’re private. I think if you make college tuition free to public colleges it will make a lot more people go to college. When a student starts applying for college, they either don’t have a job or have a minimum wage job. This makes it challenging to pay for college the first 4 years.

In conclusion, college cost so much these days that it’s probably one of the big reason why students have debt when they’re coming out of college. We need to reduce the amount of money it cost for a college degree, and that would help big time with financial issues. Knowledge shouldn’t cost so much! Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this letter.

Sincerely,

Tayven P.
