Alaina P. Mississippi

Dear Future President,

Stop, don't shoot!

Personally, I am not involved enough in politics to give too much insight, but I do understand right and wrong. I understand that it is wrong for policemen to purposefully beat somebody. A policemen’s job is to secure our safety, not strike fear in our hearts. I understand that this is America, a place where we are all suppose to be equal, as well as free. I understand that it is wrong for any group of people to make more money than another. I understand that no matter what race, ethnic group, or gender we belong in, we are all equal in America. As I have mentioned, I am not politically involved as much as most might be, but I do understand the difference between right and wrong. I am 15 years old and in the 10th grade. Surely, if I can understand these things, you can as well. I do not have the power to stop these things, so I hope that since you do have the power to stop these things, you will.

With hope,
