Trump can run this country if we only let him

My paper goes over this country's already existing issues and goes over how he can help us but with what all the people have been saying about him lately there isn't a chance he will get his views passed into laws

Dear Mr.Trump,

Before Trump got elected there had been big issues with the middle east and the current president barrack obama just wasn't helping the situation. There are horrible things going on there, war, famine, a huge refugee crisis, as well as fights for oil around the globe. We need someone responsible to deal with these problems and Donald Trump is the right man for our country. Having trump run our country is like studying more and more for a tests as the semester goes on. This shows that while he doesn't have as much political experience that he can still run our country and his knowledge can grow while he is in presidency.

I have seen on tv and heard on the radio about how the media absolutely hates on the entire idea of donald trump's campaign. They all make it seem like Donald Trump is an awful person who is racist, sexist and someone whose views make him an extremist. These are all false and in fact I feel that the people of this country have become too accustomed to democratic views from obama's and cannot accept that our new president is a republican candidate and has different views that certain people just don't choose to follow.

I can see that as Donald Trump runs this country through his views and through his perspective on political issues and outcomes that these issues will have, that he understands well enough the responsibilities that lie in his hands as president. We may see improvement throughout his first term and we may learn to accept his views and learn how to see his political views through his eyes. He has said that he is to make many policies with immigration and education, but also to protect our nation's security. I believe he can help us improve these things better than they already are.

It is important to understand the relationship between his views, ideas, and what he will actually do for this country as he has said countless times because if he carries out these laws in the congress and they approve then we will start seeing the changes, and with all these protests going on right after Trumps win they haven't even given him a chance to run the country because they are blinded by the media and it has brainwashed the public to a point where they can't accept defeat.

I feel like Trump is the man for our country if only people put down the posters and quieted their voices, and gave him a chance.

Sincerely

Pedro Cavour

All sophomore students at Metea Valley High School wrote letters to President-Elect Trump, voicing their issues on ideas that are important to them. These letters were part of a three-week project, where we learned about rhetorical situation; types of claims; types of evidence; and embedding quotes.
