Dear future President,

I would like to tell you about one of the issues that the U.S has, this problem is about nuclear weapons and the devastating damage they can do. When the bomb is detonated it can spread and can cause the destruction to many homes, it also cause a large amount of deaths. That is why I think the government should stop creating nuclear bombs.

I would like for the US and other countries to stop creating nuclear weapons because these weapons can cause destruction to homes and animal habitats.According to the site “boggling facts” The US did over a thousand nuclear tests in the years 1945 through 1992, then this caused air pollution because of the radiation caused by the nuclear weapons. People said many people would die of cancer because of the air pollution. They said that when the US bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War 2 that it killed more than 120,000 people. Other countries that have these weapons may be the United States, Russia, United Kingdom, France, China, India,Pakistan, Israel and North Korea, based on “boggling facts” all together there is approximately 16,300 nuclear weapons. One of the most powerful nuclear weapons was the Tsar Bomba, they said it was Russian and that it had cumulative power of over 50 megatons of TNT.

What I think that you should do about this problem is to talk to other countries that have these types of weapons, and agree to stop creating them. Also to destroy the ones that already exist. I think this would make more peace in the world and make it less possible for other countries attacking the US.

That is why I think you should stop creating nuclear weapons.
