Dear Future President,

Do you ever feel really tired later in the day because you been inside all day? I do. In the last class of the day I am tired from a long day. If we had recess we would have time to relax and get refreshed for the rest of the day. As president you should make it mandatory to have recess up to you are in college

Everyone’s minds need a break in the day. The only break we get is lunch. Japan has better test scores than us by a lot. On an international test the U.S. is ranked 24th with an average of 498 for reading and Japan is ranked 4th with an average of 538 for reading. For math Japan is ranked 7th with an average of 536 and the U.S. is ranked 36 with an average of 481. For science Japan is ranked 4th with an average of 547 and the U.S. is ranked 24th with an average of 497. When we get outside we can get some fresh air and get refreshed.

Everyone needs to get exercise and get outside to be healthy. We can make new friends and get interactive. When we make new friends we become more social. Every day we are always stuck inside and want to get some time to get outside and relax.

Maybe recess might be a waste of time, but we are always sitting down inside for seven hours a day and learning all day. If we get outside we have time to get outside and we can be relaxed and get refreshed. After recess we would be ready for the rest of the day. We don’t get a lot of time to talk to our friends during the day. The only break we get is lunch. Lunch is not much of a break to get refreshed and be relaxed.

Everyone needs a break once and a while. Everyone needs to be able to get exercise and stay healthy. You should make it mandatory to make recess part of the day.
