Dear Next President

Abortion is killing our country, literally. It takes more lives than almost any other disease. There is over 40-50 million abortions each year, and did you know there are over 3,000 abortions a day? That’s a lot, and now it is time to do something about it. As the next president I believe you should do something about this. No life should be taken because of a choice YOU made. Every abortion kills an innocent human being. Also, poverty, rape, disability, or even unwantedness does not justify abortion. There are a lot of excuses that people turn to when it comes to abortion. For example some may say: “Oh i’m just not ready to have a kid”, or even “I never planned to have one.” If you never planned to have a kid why would you have sex in the first place without protection.

People still argue saying there is nothing wrong with killing a baby if it’s not born yet. But an article written by Danny K. says; “That an estimated 22% of people who have a pregnancy have an abortion, that's 1 in 4 people almost saying that for every 5 pregnancies one of them is a murder. That means there is 22% chance that you’re a murderer.” Even if you are for abortion just know that there are a lot of other people saying abortion is wrong and that there are many facts against you.

Do you ever think what the baby could be? What it could become? Do you ever think what the baby feels. It doesn't have a voice. It can’t fight for it’s self. That’s why we have to. Think about all the good things this child could accomplish if you give it the chance. Even if it’s not with you, there are other people looking to adopt because they can't have kids. If you get an abortion you’re eliminating the chance for someone else to have a family. How do you feel about that?

Now it is up to you to help these voiceless children have a chance in the world. To let them experience life and to blossom into incredible people. Just give them a chance. Make abortion Illegal.
