Dear future president,

Throughout history guns were needed to protect the well being of our citizens and the our land. I believe that guns are necessary and are prevalent in our current society because they keep intruders and criminals from attacking the innocent. However, its true, guns are dangerous but its not the gun its the person. If we buckle down and make new laws making it stricter and harder to obtain guns to the general public,  it will cause a safer environment. Guns are needed though because without guns we are defenseless to foreign threats.
