Dear Future President,

     I am concerned about the second amendment stating the freedom of gaining guns with only age restrictions… I never have experienced someone getting shot and me witnessing it, but I have seen the news.  One of my best friends told me that their dad was shot by a criminal… What I want to see in my future is a safe future to all the people. This is why we have to stop or decrease the ability to get/gain guns for people; this is a serious problem on violence too.

     The total number of injuries from gun violence in 2016 is 44,224 incidents and about 11,000 deaths because of gun violence, These statistics shows the results of gun violence and it adds more proof why we need to stop or decrease the ability to get guns. Gun Control needs to be put into place because 11,000 deaths from Gun Violence is absurd. Gun Violence is mainly caused by teenagers or adults wanting to get revenge on something in there mind.

     The ability to keep a gun hidden away from Teenagers or Kids is horrible... Guns have been stolen or taken from gun owners and from parents if they have the urge to kill someone or get revenge. There are many accidental shootings that involved in someone dying from a cop for example from Crossfire or what some people like to call, “Death by Proxy”. In one Massacre which was the Columbine High School Massacre, was being attacked by two teenager after they had obtained weapons from their parents because there was no safety on the guns. That is how the massacre was caused by.

     “Special People” can carry weapons around. For example, someone in the army and the police force. In Stockyard Massacre someone dressed up to be disguised to look like the person from an army. He had a Chinese AK-47 on him, and they let him through because he was impersonating an veteran. They were able to let him pass by because of his disguise. After he got in the building, he took the lives of many people while he was in there.

     The freedom of carrying guns which is the 2nd Amendment which caused the deaths of many people. What you can do, Future President, is attempt to add a Reputation System in guns stores, so whenever someone wants to buy a gun, it will check out their criminal records and how trusted they are. To keep guns from being stolen, you could make it mandatory to have a gun in a safe or add a Fingerprint Lock so it can be very safe. Those are suggestions to what you should do if you want our future to be more safer… “As long as there are guns, the individual that wants a gun for a crime is going to have one and going to get it.
