Abortion

Abortion is the murder of innocent humans and needs to be stopped

Dear Future President,

Abortion is the brutal killing of innocent life and violates the rights of Americans across the country, which is why you should help stop abortion. Over 58 million defenseless children have been killed since the Roe vs. Wade decision, making abortion legal. 58 million people that could have done amazing things if they weren’t murdered.

The Declaration of Independence states that all men are endowed with unalienable rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This means that abortion is violating the baby’s right to life. Some pro-choice supporters say that the baby is not “alive” until birth, but 52% of Americans say that life starts at conception while 66% say that an unborn baby is a person. Every person in America has the right to life, and abortion is taking that right from the baby that did nothing to deserve death before it even gets a chance to experience the world.

Abortion is against the teachings and beliefs of many religions. Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and more oppose abortion, except if it is necessary to save the mother’s life. About 77% of people in America have these religions, which means a lot of people will be upset with you if you don’t make a change. I don’t think you want a stupid decision to make murdering children legal to prevent you from getting another term.

Many people believe that abortion is okay because it’s the mother’s choice to do what she wants with her body, which is understandable if you forgot that there is another body in her stomach that doesn’t want to die. It shouldn’t be the mother’s choice to end another person’s life just because she doesn’t want her parents to find out or can’t afford to have a child. That baby could do amazing things and change the world. What if George Washington or Einstein were aborted? What if you were aborted? Everyone deserves a chance at life, and abortion destroys the opportunity for great people to do great things.

What should you do? Well you can’t make a law against abortion, but you can help prevent abortion as much as you can to prevent it. You could encourage people to put the baby up for adoption instead of killing it or starting anti- abortion organizations. Please take action and change this horrible issue that is taking place in America.

Sincerely,

Sydney
