I think that we need to reduce gun violence in the usa because just in

chicago 593 people died from gun related situations this year. I think we need to create laws that help reduce the deaths in the USA. Also a way to reduce that is to make certain laws that require you to go threw a training and get a permit.

I also think after they go through training that it wouldn't be a one time thing. I think after they go thru it once they would have to renew it and go thru it just like a licence for a car. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in 2013, there were 73,505 nonfatal firearm injuries and this is all because they don't know how to shoot a gun or they don't have a permit for a gun and. This is why we need to enforce new laws to reduce gun violence.There has also been 505 accidental deaths due the firearms this year.

Stephan barton a 22 year old survived the Aurora movie theater shooting last summer and decided to devote himself to fighting gun violence. I think everyone that feels the same as stephan should help people be more aware of gun violence by going out and telling people.
