Dear Next President,

Some people want to get rid of D.A.R.E because they are saying that it doesn’t prevent drug use , and maybe increases it. D.A.R.E is good, because it helps kids learn that some drugs are good to use and that some drugs are bad to use. So you should only use the medicine that your doctor prescribes you to use so you don’t get hurt and you don’t have to go to the hospital. My experience when I went to D.A.R.E they taught us the good and bad sides of life for example drinking and driving and to not have too many drinks before you drive home. They taught us about cigarettes and not to smoke. After that we got to dunk the cops. We went through a smokehouse so we know what to do in case of an emergence. They also shoot t-shirts with their logo on the t-shirt, which helped social interaction between parents, students and police officers.
