Dear Future President,

College is a very important thing. Education is a very important thing. The future is a very important thing, but these things cost money. Having an education is huge for me and furthering education to collage and getting a degree is my next goal after graduating high school. Their is one thing that is in the way of the next goal, and that is collage cost.

According to the College Board, the average cost of tuition and fees for the 2015–2016 school year was $32,405 at private colleges, $9,410 for state residents at public colleges, and $23,893 for out-of-state residents attending public universities. www.collegedata.com/cs/content/content_payarticle_tmpl.jhtml?articleId=10064 $32,405 is a lot of money that many of people do not have laying around, I know that I don't. I think that more people would further their education collage was not so much. 

According to the National Center for Educational Statistics, 18.2 million students enrolled in college in 2007. Overall, around 39% of 18- to 24-year-olds were enrolled in college that year, and an additional 447,000 students were attending non-degree institutions of higher learning. howtoedu.org/college-facts/how-many-people-go-to-college-every-year/Only about 40% of people attend collage! That is every forth person out of ten. What kind of jobs do the other six get? What kind of education to the other six get? how many people out of the six are successful? How many of them want to go to collage but it cost to much?  Collage cost should be lowered, but also not so low that people can take advantage of it, but to the point that more people that want education can have that option in their life. 

I hope that my voice and many other people's voices are heard and is taken in consideration and thought out! Help make America great! Help further peoples education!
