Dear President Elect Trump, Hi my is Christopher C and the issue I want to discuss with you is about gun control. In my opinion gun control needs to be more secure. In the United States five women die everyday from guns. Between 1999 to 2013 there was about 464,000 total gun deaths. More gun control would reduce more deaths. I think we should have gun control to many people die by guns in America.
People may say it self defense but it isn't. Of 29,618 violent crimes committed between 2007 and 2011 0.79% of victims protected themselves with a threat of use or use of a firearm, least employed protective behavior. It can also reduce suicides. Between 1999 to 2013 there were 270,231 firearm suicides in the United States. So that why I think there should be gun control. President do this so we can have a better environment.
