Global Warming

The world is getting hotter and hotter and it is not going to stop. Scientists believe that the word will be eight degrees hotter in 2100. The problem will persist if we don't do anything about it. We need to recognize the dilemma now or we will have a huge problem later. My name is Lane Vu and i think global warming is a big problem

One of the causes of global warming is the greenhouse effect. Humans are contributing hugely to the greenhouse. Cars, factories and the production of electricity are the 3 main contributors to the greenhouse effect. When a car's fuel gets burned off it releases carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is the most important contributor gas to global warming.

Other than the obvious effect of the earth getting hotter, there are many other important effects of global warming. In Antarctica the ice caps are melting quickly causing the deaths of Polar Bears, Walruses and Seals. Also due to the ice caps melting, the sea levels are starting to rise. If this rate of global warming continues future generations will be at risk to the very high sea levels.

Although this is not an easy problem to fix, there are solutions. We can reduce fossil fuel use, we can plant more trees and we can save water. By reducing the number of fossil fuels we use, we can lower the number of harmful gasses to the greenhouse effect. By planting lots of trees, the trees will take in carbon dioxide and slow down global warming.

Mr. President, will you notice and accept this problem and try to find a solution? Global warming is a problem that needs to be stopped very soon . We need to recognize this now and put an end to this now.
