Zoos
We should get rid of zoos and make nature preserves.
Dear President,
Zoos are an issue in America. Zoos are an issue because they hold animals in captivity for human entertainment, and we should have nature preserves instead of zoos. And here are some more reasons on why zoos are an issue.
Zoos are an issue because they they hold animals in captivity for human entertainment. I love zoos because you don’t always get to see certain animals in our everyday life, but animals are facing depression because they are held in captivity. Animals have been caught pacing because they are depressed.
Animals and people are affected by zoos because animals can die because they are deprived of depression and people are affected because the zookeepers will lose their jobs. But there are alternatives.
I chose this topic because I love animals and zoos, but I don’t think zoos are the right option to show animals to humans. I feel bad for animals in zoos. I think we should make a reserved spot in the animal's natural habitat for humans to see animals.
I think we should make nature preserves out in animals habitat because then they aren’t in captivity and they can’t be killed in a nature preserve because people aren’t allowed to hunt in that designated area. It is just right for animals to live in their natural habitat, and nature preserves can make that happen.
Thanks for reading my letter on why zoos should be replaced with nature preserves. I hope somebody takes action and make nature preserves instead of zoos. Thanks again for taking the time to read this letter.
