Domestic Abuse

As a the new president we want you to help prevent and stop domestic violence.

Dear future president,

As the future president I think that you should raise awareness, and create more safe houses for the victims of domestic abuse. One in every four women are victims of domestic abuse. If we were to raise awareness about this problem then we could lower the number of women being affected by domestic abuse.

If we were to open more safe houses around the country for victims of abuse then we could help them feel safe. Eventually we could help teach people signs of abuse so that they can get out of that relationship without getting badly hurt. Right now there are over 2 million women and 800,000 men in a abusive relationship. Domestic abuse doesnt

Safe houses for victims of abuse could make it so people afraid of what their partners may do to them could go to one of these safe houses. Safe houses are very important to people in a bad relationship. People in bad relationships are afraid that if they break up with them then they might come after them and hurt them. If they were in a safe house then they couldn't get hurt.

Domestic violence is a serious issue that needs to be stopped as soon as possible. When you become president then you could help people that have been victims of domestic abuse feel like they are safe again.

From,

Audrey
