My Thoughts on Immigration

A Letter by Angelly

Dear Next President,

My Name is Angelly Tejada, I’m a Junior Student at Olney Charter High School, and I live and study in Philadelphia. I’ve lived in Philadelphia for the last 11 Months. I’m gonna tell you about my experiences of being an Inmigrant here in the United States, This is too hard when you realize that you are not in your Country, and you already know that the people that are from the country won’t treat you as good as they treat themselves.

Let me tell you about some of the Immigration going on the UNITED STATES.

I can Tell about this Topic because I have haven experiences although I am an Immigrant, It’s nothing easy when you come here, It’s difficult to you to start living a different kind of life where almost everything is different, including schools, home., That’s my Experience…

Immigration is the Act of entering a Country with the Intent to permanently Live and/or Work there.

The U.S. is a Nation of Immigrants, But Unauthorized Immigrants and U.S. Immigration policy have become a source of political debate, with congress and President Obama disagreeing over the best course of action to address issues such as deportations, shielding unauthorized Immigrants from Deportation, Securing the Border, and overhauling the nation's legal immigration System.

Federal Immigration Law determines whether a person is an Alien, the Rights, Duties and Obligations associated with being an Alien in the United States and How Aliens gain residence or Citizenship within the United States.

"We didn’t raise the Statue of Liberty with her back to the world, we did it with her light shining as a beacon to the world. And whether we were Irish or Italians or Germans crossing the Atlantic, or Japanese or Chinese crossing the Pacific; whether we crossed the Rio Grande or flew here from all over the world generations of immigrants have made this country into what it is. It’s what makes us special."

— President Obama, November 21, 2014

The Hispanic Culture has became a really Important Fact since an insignificantly time ago, even though there is an official day that is celebrated during the hispanic week that covers since september 15 to october 15 of each year, it is important because of all of the aportations that has given the hispanic people to UNITED STATES. I think Latinos are important to UNITED SATES, We have raised this Country in a little way, Inmigration should be so important.

Is Inmigration good or not? Here are some Opinions about it:

No, it is not

They take the jobs that people need. Their chance is better than anyjust want a free ride..come to America, they need to learn how to be an American and treasure it. These immigrants that are allowed in have no respect. They just want a free ride.. American will ever get. Immigrants are not forced to be an American once they are citizens. If a person wants to come to America, they need to learn how to be an American and treasure it.

Yes, It is

Immigration when done right is a great thing. It allows diversity in the country gives us a means to understand other cultures and gives those people a safe and good country to stay at. However, illegal immigration is not a good thing.

You, as a President should make a Law that identifies us as a special people we are, because United States without us is kind of very different, we have raised this country, we should be part of United States, This country should have a spot for all of us, That law could change some things that are negative as a part of us.

In Fact, Immigration is What makes us and United States Special!

                    Sincerely;

                                        Angelly Tejada
