Dear Future President,

We, the people of the United States, have a serious problem with racism and equality. This issue, has being going for a long time now, and it’s time for a change. Immigration is an important issue because half the population of America is built up of immigrants. Many immigrants aren’t being treated equally, because of racial profiling. Without immigration, the US wouldn't be nearly as diverse as it is today. Immigrants immigrate to the United States for a better life and a better future. Not only, in Mexico but in other countries there is so little opportunities to go to school. There's barely any jobs available and the pay is so little. Not only that, poverty is a big issue in Mexico and other countries such as Africa, Liberia, Uganda etc. Everyone has the right to education and that's mainly the reason why US Immigrants immigrate to the United States to get a good education, and to better ourselves. Diversity is a good thing, I'm not only saying this because I'm an immigrant, most people would agree with me. In today’s society we see schools that are very diverse which is a good thing many people learn from others such as Culture.

There’s a lot of discrimination going on in today’s society due to racial profiling not only that people from other countries aren’t being treated equally. I read an article that said, “There are many causes of discrimination, all of which are idiotic, but the less interaction different cultures have, the more likely it is there will be discrimination by those who do not relate to eachother.” According to “llegal resources” by HG.org this is saying that the less Americans communicate with others the more chance there is that there will be more discrimination going on. Also without immigration the United States wouldn’t be as diverse as it is today. Most schools are diverse, so are most cities in Washington. Americans learn new things from others, such as cultures . Such as how different the U.S is from other countries. One article states, “ Diversity can create another curiosity. By being exposed to different people and cultures, a student may want to learn more about a particular group which can give them insight into how and why things work as they do and possibly a way to change them for better.” Like I stated earlier diversity is a good thing because many people such as Americans learn from others and like the quotes said possibly a way to change for the better. Not only is racism a very pressing problem, the article stated, “racism is still a very pressing problem in the United States today. Sometimes it is blatant and open, but often it can be more subtle, or even built into the system, as seen by racial profiling by law enforcement officers and other government officials, and the near impossibility for some groups, especially African Americans, to break the cycle of poverty.” This is saying that the more racist people are to others the harder it is to become to break the cycle of poverty.

Most Immigrants Immigrate to the united states to have a better future here, not only that they also come here so that their children can have a better education. Since I myself is an immigrant It's kinda hard for me to get a job being an illegal immigrant. Because is hard to get jobs not only that most people discriminates us. Because WE are immigrants being immigrants is nothing bad it just means that we have immigrated to the united states that's all. We are hard working people I'm not only saying this because I’m Mexican no most people would even agree with me. I see almost all Mexicans working being immigrants is not an obstacle for them. Any job that is available being easy or being hard those “ immigrants” take it no matter how hard the job is. Yea is true not all of us are great people most people make mistakes but that doesn't mean all of us are the same. Most of us immigrants come to the US because all around mexico there's a lot of violence going on there's a lot of killing there's barely any Hospitals and there's a lot of diseases going on. Stereotype is that all immigrants are either rapist or terrorists that is not true. The majority of these immigrants come to the US looking for better opportunities. Immigration also creates diversity and if their weren't any immigration in the schools it would be harder for students to understand  different cultures.

We need the future president to make a real change this time. Because Immigrants need to have the same quality like any other person. Everyone is the same we are humans. Just because our skin is different doesn't mean that you have the power over us. It just means we have different looks, I want a world to be peaceful. Without racial profiling, Americans learn from us from our culture. If All immigrants get deported they will be no diversity in the united states which means that there will be a lot of effects from that. If you Vote for a president who will make the US better. And who's not racist and who's willing to make a change you're gonna make a difference in the world too.
