Free Health Care

Health care is a human right and should not have a price on it.

Dear future President of the United States,

I am a student at Santa Clara High School, and I would like to talk to you about health care. Health care is a major problem in America because it has become too expensive to afford for some families. Health care should be universal and free to everyone because it is essential for the future of Americans. Countries in Europe, such as Denmark and Sweden, have free health care. This shows benefits because people living in those countries live longer and are happier.

Many ask how is America going to afford to pay for everyone’s health care. Well, we could raise the taxes a bit, so everyone is guaranteed free health care, and it evens out because insurance is so expensive anyway. Americans' health is the most important factor in our life, and forcing individuals to pay for their health is unjust. Free health care is a human right.
