Improving America
Higher Education and Immigration/Stereotypes
Dear President,
I am writing to you to discuss what my stand is on higher education. I have met plenty of people who hoped to attend college but couldn’t because of the amount of money that it cost. I believe that in order to get higher education we need to make colleges more affordable. College should be affordable for everyone. We can do this by spending less money on jails and military. I believe that education is more important than military and jails. If we can make college more affordable, there will be more people in college, making America more educated and civilized.
I think that the way that the immigration policies are as of now, they’re fine. The only thing that I’ll suggest is that we as Americans need to be more aware of what kind of propagandas we use. We should not generalize all immigrants. There’s a lot of propaganda that says all immigrants are criminals and I think that you as a president, can get rid of those stereotypes. Doing so will cause Americans to become more peaceful.
Thank you, Mayah Bess
