I am a ninth grader who wants to see where you will guide America i have been following the presidential elections and i have not herd them say how they will stop school shootings.
Most school shootings are not stopped in time for the fact that their are not any armed guards at the school to prevent/stop the shooting before it starts. Well the answer to all of this is to add more armed guards and better metal detectors. Also yes, school shootings will be stopped if more armed guards are put in the school. The school shooter will be stopped before they enter the school and hurt the other kids and staff and they will be taken to prison depending on the age of the person committing the crime. In other words the shooters will be stopped as soon as the enter the school and already 90% percent of districts have tightened security ever since the Newton school shooting. In other words to explain my evidence any and if not all school shootings will be stopped if all districts/schools improve their security. Also maybe in high schools should start doing full body pat downs.
Gunshots and screams are coming down this way fear is in their eyes something they can't hide crying while they hide hoping to spare their live as bullets are flying parents are crying students are dying while running for their lives but sadly most of them will not make it to see another day all because someone's day did not go great.and when he is done with his cruel deed he will go on to kill himself. Schools have to incorporate vigilant security to prevent/stop school shootings in America. That's how we will stop losing our children from school shootings. According to "The History website" On April 20, 1999, two teens went on a shooting spree at Columbine High School in Little ton, Colorado, killing 13 people and wounding more than 20 others before turning their guns on themselves and committing suicide. The crime was the worst high school shooting in U.S. history and prompted a national debate on improving school security and school safety, as well as a major investigation into what provoked the to students to commit that horrible deed.
