Immigration

Immigration problem in the Untied States of America.

My name is Lane Namanny and I’m a sophomore at Coon Rapids-Bayard in Iowa. I’m going to be talking about immigration in the United States of America. I would like for the upcoming president to do something about immigration.

The people get into our country from a human smuggler. They usually have to pay a large sum of money just to get a chance to get a seat or place to go and that is not counting on the other factors. Many people died each year from suffocating in containers, dehydrate in deserts, or drown at sea. That is not even counting that some of the people that get raped, murdered, and kidnapped. Then, you have to count on the border patrol getting some of them and getting them shipped back to their home country. In 2014 there were 11.3 million immigrants and most of them were Mexicans. The number of immigrants from Mexico is declining, and other countries immigrants are starting to go up. I would like the upcoming president to put tighter security on the  areas that don't get that much. Some of the areas don’t even have a fence to stop the people from just walking in.

Feel like we need to talk more to the Mexico Government to find ways of helping each other. I feel like if we do that it will put the main goals of each country. Then we can help each other we are problems on immigration. Then they can help pay to fix some of the holes or gaps in the fence line. Then there is a lot of violence in the areas around the border. Put more police in those areas where the violence is higher. Just that we need to build more of a relationship with the Mexican Governement.
