Dear President,

I hope you are enjoying the White House. Congratulations on winning the election. I would like to give you my take on a very controversial issue… immigration. I think you should let immigrants into the U.S. whether or not they have certain religions or enter illegally. This is why.

First of all, you should let more immigrants into the U.S. because it would be very kind of you. It would be kind of you because put yourself in their spot. They have nowhere to go and have little possessions. Wouldn’t you want to be taken into the country? I would.

Second I think you should let illegal immigrants stay in the U.S. They are only coming illegally because there is nowhere else to go. They also have to feed their families. If you had next to nothing wouldn’t you break the law to keep your family alive? That is what I think about illegal immigration.

Finally, you should let immigrants in regardless of religion. The U.S. was founded on freedom of religion so we need to continue practicing it. Also it is discrimination to keep a certain group of people out of a place just because of religion. Immigrants cannot help the fact that a few terrorist groups are Muslim. There are fewer terrorists than peaceful Muslims in the world. That is my take on immigrants with certain religions.
