Jose California

Immigration

I am talking about two problems that I believe the upcoming president should address which are immigration and homelessness.

Dear future president,

I am high school student in the state of California. I would like to consult on two major topics and ask how do you plan to address them.

My topics are immigration and homelessness. I specifically live in Southern California, we aren't too far from another countries border lines. So there is obviously immigrants looking for a better. they are just trying to escape the poverty, terror, or simply their countries government. With the growing number of immigrants entering the United States do you plan on giving then the opportunity of giving them papers or some kind of permanent residency? Many of those immigrants have kids that were born here in the U.S. therefore, they are legal U.S.citizens. Having deportations in place will separate these children from their parents and they will be sent to foster care. Foster care might seem like an alternative but most of those legal guardians treat their foster kids badly, they are constantly being yelled at and being put down. This will not only affect their lives psychologically but possibly even physically. Having a very low self-esteem will affect the way they perform at school and social skills, therefore, resulting in future unemployment. I am looking forward to your response future president.

                                                                                                                 Sincerely,

                                                                                                                 Jose Rios
