Dear Future President,

I am a thirteen year old and I go to Saco Middle School. The reason why I am writing to you today is because I care about this country and seeing it go down hill is upsetting. There are many problems in the US currently and one that is hurting us big time is illegal immigration. These are prime examples of why we need to fix our boarder and put a stop to illegal immigrants coming into our country.

There are many reasons why illegal immigrants hurts the country and one of the reasons is the crime act. There is one big reason why illegals are in our country and it is because lots are forced out of there country because of crime activity and that crime ends up happening in America. Tons of illegals bring drugs into america and that is one of the reasons drug addiction/ use has gone up in America. According to foxiness.com estimated 11.7 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. account for 13.6 percent of all offenders sentenced for crimes committed in the U.S. Twelve percent of murder sentences, 20 percent of kidnapping sentences and 16 percent of drug trafficking sentences are committed by illegal immigrants. We have lots people coming into the United States Of America lots of bad people and we don't even know who they are.

The economy is also downhill because of illegal immigration. Wages for low-skilled workers go down, Since undocumented workers generally don't pay income taxes but do use schools and other government resources they are a drain to the economy. There is also a huge portion of undocumented immigrants that use welfare, with 11 million illegals and 62 percent on welfare and food stamps that is absurd. Illegal immigration costs U.S. taxpayers about $113 billion a year at the federal, state and local level. Education for the children of illegal aliens is the single largest cost to taxpayers, at an annual price of nearly $52 billion.

The population is also hurting us with illegal immigrants, because it is sad when you have illegals pouring into the U.S. and we have homeless veterans living on the side of the road. According to militarytimes.com 50,000 veterans are homeless and that number keeps going up. The population of the United States is consistently and rapidly increasing currently at an all time high of 324,118,787 people. Schools, government systems, and many other public services are over burdened as it is. The more people that enter our country, the worse the quality of these systems become.

These are just few of many reasons why you the next president of the United States Of America need to put an end to illegal immigration in our country by building a wall and increasing boarder security. As I stated above Illegal immigration hurts the U.S economy, crime act goes through the roof and government systems get worse.
