Immigration

Letter to the next President

November 02, 2016

President Hillary Clinton

Dear Ms. President

I am a student at Santa Clara High School in Santa Clara, CA, and I am writing you to encourage you to increase your efforts as President to protect our natural environment and think carefully about immigration. I know my opinion is not going to change your plans for the country but I just want to let you know what I think. So one of the important issue is about immigration and that is very important to me because I’m a Latina. In this country almost half of the population are immigrants and we need you to be with us too. If they were not here this country would be different. I don’t agree to allow Syrian refugees; I’m not against them, just some of them are bad persons, I mean terrorists and this is not a good thing for the country.

As President you have the authority to work toward environmental policies that can have dramatic effects to make this country a better country.

Thank you for the work you have done and what you are going to do and please consider these ideas to make the country better.

Sincerely,

Karla Zuniga
