The future of our planet
We are a part of nature and to betray nature, is to betray ourselves.
Dear future president,
I hope you know how many lives are in your hands and how many lives can fall from your hands with just a couple of words. Everyone is counting on you, I wanted to point out that our wildlife needs you too. Everyone is always busy in their own doings, they never stop to think of the little things that keeps us alive.
I did some research and more than 80% of are earth's forest was destroyed and even 90% of “west Africa's coastal rain forest has disappeared since 1900.” We are destroying wildlife, and are air we breath by putting factories everywhere. Most of us today don't even care about tomorrow, we pollute our oceans so much soon we won't be able to swim in them. We are a part of nature and to betray nature, is to betray ourselves. So please future president help us, because whatever you are fighting for won't matter if you let the world rot.
It is no secret that we are killing everything for houses and factories. People are killing trees for money, we are making animals look for homes plus food and if they don't find it fast enough they die. We need are animals, they help us more than we think, but like one of my favorite songwriters once said “we use nature like a credit card with no spending limit over drafting animals to extinction, stealing your chance to ever see their uniqueness.” It is sad that “ we call this destruction progress." So please future president help us fix how we see nature.
I know that we can't fix everything we did but we can make a change, “an error does not become a mistake until you refused to correct it.”So please future president help us correct it. I want the next 90 generations to see the animals we see today, I want them to be able to swim in clean water. Like I said this world is our home and every organism is our family. Nature has done so much, so it is our turn to help the world, so dear future president, please help us. We need you.
Sincerely,
Serena O.
