Immigration Problems

A problem that is happening now and cannot stop and we need to do something about it :)

Dear Future President,

I’m writing from Rahway, New Jersey. Immigration is a huge problem. Many families come to America to have a better life, to give their children a better life. Some countries like Mexico, Honduras, San Salvador, Peru, Guatemala, etc, have left their families to come here or are lucky enough to come here or others don't come back at all.

According to the website: “http://www.bushcenter.org/catalyst/north-american-century/benefits-of-immigration-outweigh-costs.html”. It says that U.S-born children of immigrants are more likely to go to college, less likely to live in poverty, and equally likely to be homeowners as the average American. I know this because I watch the news on TV and there has been cases that people try to cross the border line but they mostly get catch and send them back to their country or send them to jail or even kill them, which I think is not fair because you could at least give them a chance.

Another reason that they should let immigrants come here is because some people or teenagers come here for education and jobs. I know this because in the website http://immigration.procon.org it says that some immigrants come here to see their families that haven't seen them for a long time, maybe their is violence in their country, and because they want a good education for themselves and to be a american citizen. People come here to have a better life and a better future not like back in their countries. I just hope that you see my letter so you can understand how many people suffer in their countries or lives to come in America.                                                                                                                                                                                                  Sincerely, Ashley
