Letter To The Next President

This letter is about what I would like the president to try and fix with his power.

Future President

1600 Pennsylvania Drive NW

Washington D.C.

Dear future president,

In the great country of the United States of America, many great things happen. Also a lot of bad things happen like attacks on police, terrorist attacks, the economy, and many other things. Today, I am writing this paper to inform you of what I think should be addressed and changed during your time at the president.

I'm gonna start with the “Black lives Matter”. The statement is true but, I think it should be “All live Matter”. Every life matters because that person could grow up to do great things. I don't care about skin color or ethnicity because we all look the same without skin. I know it is weird to think about skinless people but it's true. The movement of black lives matter is causing so much trouble in the US. I know it's not right for a officer to shoot an unarmed teenager but things happen. The occurrence led to many attacks on police officers. Now the attacks have led to the rumor of a week of purging officers. I don't know if it's true but if it is we need to stick out our heads more for the officers of America because they don't care who you are, they are going to be there for you.

My next topic is terrorism and how it affects us as citizens. Terrorism is a horrible thing that some people choose to do. We recently had 9/11 which was an attack by Al Queda, a terrorist group led by the now deceased Osama Bin Laden. In just one terrorist attack almost 3,000 lives were lost. I know you can't change what happened on September 11, 2001, but you can change things like that from happening in the future. More recently would be ISIS recruiting. They are doing it everyday to anyone. I received a text even. They also shot at shell at a US base in Iraq that is being tested for mustard gas. Mustard gas is a very deadly gas that causes horrible blistering. These attacks are really hurting America and they need to be stopped.

These two topics have been spoken about at home and in school. They really can only be stopped by you. So, as the next president I am asking that you at least address these two problems.

Sincerely,

Mason Waller
