Dear Future President,

I would like to draw your attention to the worldwide issue of abortion. Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy and in my opinion is very wrong. God brings every person into this world for a reason, regardless of the circumstance or situation. In my opinion, I feel that abortions are not the way to go. There are other options instead of doing the worst and ultimate thing.

For example, the woman could continue the pregnancy and then give the baby up for adoption and also give that baby a chance for life. I am a very strong believer in God and a devout Christian and feel strongly about this topic. Every person that is conceived is sacred and loved by God and his son Jesus Christ. In the bible, there are several passages that show that abortion is wrong and should never be done. For example, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion for the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you” (Isaiah 49:15). This shows that his love is immediate for us from the minute we are conceived until the day we die and even from then, it goes on and on. It would mean a lot to me and to many others if the abortion laws were changed and other means to take care of unplanned pregnancies were found. Thank you so much for your time.
