Police Brutality
My letter will be explain why Police Brutality needs to end.
Dear President,
Police brutality is no joke and it is getting worse each year,“in fact, every day”. It is one of the biggest issues in the U.S.A today. Police are taking advantage of their jobs. They are taking innocent people’s lives for no reason. Police have been taking African Americans lives the most. Most of the police officers are racial profiling.
This needs to stop! Police officers are supposed to protect us and keep us safe, but only 25% out of the 100 are. I feel that police officers don’t deserve guns if they don’t know how to use them properly. They’ve proved they don’t know how to use them by killing unarmed victims. I feel like there would be more peace if they had no guns. Police brutality has been going on since the 1900’s. When will this stop?
The main problem is police officers think they can do whatever they want. They have tasers but they always chose to shoot. Police officers take lives like they’re nothing. People should have a right to protest in the streets for their rights. There’s a trend called #blacklivesmatter; it’s where people protest everywhere for African American lives.
Police brutality needs to end. Another major issue is these families aren’t getting justice. The police officers that are murdering people are still free. The police officers need new rules at their office. Since when was murder legal? They need to be taught when and when to not use their guns. I just hope police brutality ends before there is nobody left on earth.
Some people think the police are doing their jobs, I think not. We shouldn’t feel harmed by our protection. Police are supposed to protect us we shouldn’t need protection from our protection. That just doesn’t make any sense at all. I hope police brutality ends soon. If there is anything you can do to stop this please do it. It would be a great thing for you to do if you help end police brutality. You will be saving lots of lives doing this. Thank you for your time. That is all I need to say.
